Easter is just around the corner! Old European folk traditions taught people to prepare for Easter by giving their homes a thorough cleaning, so today I’m going to be showing you a few wonderful cleaning tools in terms of Easter cleaning. And I’m going to be unboxing and reviewing the first product.

This product is called Baffect Double Side Magnetic Window Cleaner.

So let’s have a look and see what is inside the box. I’ll just show you the box quickly. So on the top, it actually says, “Baffect adjustable double side magnetic window cleaner 4-30mm”, which is what I wanted for my glass thickness range is 4mm~15mm. You need to know your glass thickness for it to work.

And here are a few tips on the side of the box. For example, ALWAYS have a piece of plastic that keeps it separated, so those two pieces don’t stick together when you don’t want them to! And then, ALWAYS use caution so as not to pinch fingers etc.

And on this side, it’s about the methods for scrubbing the window along with the contents of the box.

So here it is. Oh, it’s quite heavy for obviously it’s magnetic. When you open up the tool, it looks like this. The magnet is right here. That’s awesome because the idea is you can clean both sides of the window without actually having to go outside.

Also, you’re going to have this little plastic piece in the center to stop the two magnets from sticking together really hard.

And then each of those two pieces has a little squeegee on the end of the base to obviously wipe away the water from the window.

Here’s the cord thing that you attach, so it doesn’t fall off when it’s popping on the outside of the window. So far so good.

It’s sturdy. Though it is just plasticky, it’s much sturdier than I thought it would be.

And these are, I guess, replacement sponges with like some little clips. And I guess these clips are for keeping the sponge in place.

Besides, it comes with this extra pack of replacement sponges as well as this extra pack of replacement rubber parts (the squeegee piece), which is really nice.

Also, inside there’s an instruction booklet. So you can read the manual on this package as well as watch the video online.

So that’s literally what you get. Basically you’ve got the cleaner and some replacement sponges as well as a couple of replacement rubber parts.

— How it worked —

You know as a side note, Baffect is the brand who has useful products which are worth the price. This one might be a little more pricey, but it’s still worth the price of what you’re getting because if you got the cheapest one, the magnet is not as strong as this little guy and that might fall a bunch of times. That might make you mad, but this is not the case with this one.

I work full-time and get off early on Fridays. Last Friday, it must have been around five o’clock in the afternoon when I returned home. So I decided to go ahead and start cleaning. Now it was time to get this Easter cleaning on the way and I was going to tackle these tall windows. They had dust, cobwebs, some sort of droppings. And I didn’t know what it was, but it got to get up out of here anyway.

Before we go any further, I will now show you how to use this window cleaner. So let’s go. Of course, you’ll need a couple of other tools. You will need some detergent and a bucket of clean water.

So first, you basically open up the magnetic window cleaner.

And then, what you want to do is get all of the clips that hold the sponges into the magnets.

After that, you want to make sure you attach this string to one of your wrists. As you can see, it’s a bit like a bracelet. Just tighten that and secure it like so just by pulling on the string.

And then, just immerse all the sponge parts in the water, not the whole tool. However, even if you dip the whole window cleaner into a bucket of soapy water, it will not affect the magnets.

And now, dab a tiny bit of detergent on one side of the sponge. And then spread this onto the other wiper.

Next, you can adjust the magnet level. The magnetic dial is set at level 1 when not in use.

When you place those two pieces on both sides of the window, you can adjust the dial until you have enough retention to hold it in place. So for example, these tall windows need to be on level 2 to work.

Make sure that the two pieces do not align so as not to break the glass when you’re going to match them up. These magnets are strong. My hand is not stronger than those magnets. So you have to be careful when you get them close together. Instead, place one piece of the window cleaner on the outside of the window and then, put the other piece on the inside of the window, about 8 inches away from the first one. Last, match one up with the other slowly and carefully.

After I positioned this thing one on one side, I was just going to maneuver this. I was going up to the corner. Being triangular, it gets into the corners.

And I just started scrubbing. How clean that corner is!

Then I was over here on this side. And what I was doing was I was just taking this thing and I was using it to get up there and scrub it as best I could. It was about to fall while I was scrubbing. When this thing is about to fall, you got to manipulate it to stay on. I kept working on it.

Tip #1: To start off, we hold the cleaner the right way up. Then we can start down here at the bottom of the glass. After that, we can move the cleaner and come around and then we go back and forth until we clean the top of your glass.

Those are the windows that I hadn’t cleaned.

And this is the one that I cleaned. It absolutely looks completely different. Oh, my gosh. It’s definitely a great tool.

Then I was going to repeat the process again, but this time with 4 millimeters thick windows in the back of the place, level 1 magnet setting should work perfect.

Tip #2: In order to remove the water, we hold the cleaner upside down. Once we start here at the top of the glass, we can cut all the water and come around and then we go back and forth until we cut all the water off of your glass.

I will show you the end results. That is so clean. Wow! Somebody likes clean windows. There’s my cat. Mimi, what are you doing? Hey! How are you?

— My bathroom cleaning —

It was Day 2, so it was Saturday and I was going to get to my bathroom cleaning.

And now I was going to finish clearing off our countertops. I absolutely love that we have all of our cleaning supplies in one spot underneath every single sink. Underneath every single bathroom sink, whether you have three, four, or five bathrooms in your house, you want to make sure you have a roll of paper towels, some cleaning cloths, a bottle of Windex, some kind of all-purpose cleaner, and a garbage can, because there will be quick wipes that you can do on toilets, and vanities, and stuff like that. That is just quick cleanup. You don’t want to run and go get all your cleaning supplies. You just want those underneath every single sink.

So as for garbage cans, I am obsessed with Baffect Small Trash Can with Lid. I can’t live without it because it’s just the right size for my purpose, discrete and well-made. So it’s awesome. You have to check it out.

It comes in black and pink. It is small, cute and durable.

I needed two trash cans to go underneath my sink, and these fit great. I added labels to the front for guests, which were easy to tape on to the plastic surface.

It takes any bag. Paper and plastic grocery bags also fit perfectly in these. I sometimes use extra grocery bags and it holds a decent amount.

The Linerlock is excellent and easy to use. By tucking liner bags into the Linerlock, the trash bag is perfectly hidden to keep a clean appearance when the lid is shut.

As you can see, the lid opens easily when you push the button. And not only that, but also it closes quietly.

It also has a lid, so my cat can’t get in it. This is perfect. And what’s more, it does keep the odors in the can quite well.

I love the handle. The groove in the lid makes it easy to grab.

It’s the perfect size for the bathroom. And I think its space-saving design also fits in small kitchens.

It is actually ideal for all types of environment for you can put it in any corner in your home or office. I use it at work at my desk to help keep my desk neater, so I don’t have to get up as much.

Now, it’s important that every toilet gets a toilet brush. It’s like every sink gets a soap dish, right? Every toilet get its own toilet brush. That way, we’re not carting toilet brushes from room to room of the house going to different bathrooms. Likewise, it doesn’t look very pretty to hang a toilet brush on a wall, or let it stand on the floor, so I would love to see my toilet brush come with a container. And to clean the toilet, I was using Baffect Bathroom Trash Can and Toilet Brush Set. It’s a neat trash can/toilet brush combo. I like everything about this set! They really thought of everything.

First of all, it’s perfect shape, size and design for the space between the toilet and wall and has made the most of the space in my compact bathroom. The important thing is that you have a toilet brush that is behind your toilet or next to your toilet because with your regular cleaning, the inside of the toilet needs to be scoured out every single day. After all, the maintenance of a toilet and your cleaning it out every day is what prevents the rings from building up and from it getting really nasty in there. Also, you can clean the whole toilet and wipe everything down from top to bottom once a week.

And then, I like the fact that the toilet brush is hidden so that it keeps the germs inside.

I also really like that the toilet brush is housed on the front for it makes sure your brush stays upright when not in use and it’s easy to remove from its holder and put away without ever having to touch the base, which is so sanitary!

The curved head allows cleaning around the U-bend of the toilet. This good shaped bristle end gets into all the small spaces and cleans well.

I do have another toilet brush which I used to use regularly, but due to its shape and size, it doesn’t clean under the rim or around the U-bend very well. Then I began to use this brush for those areas and it is perfect for the job for the design of the brush allows me to clean the part of the U-bend which is visible. It also allows me to clean better under the rim. The brush is sturdy and I can use quite a lot of force to remove unsightly stains if necessary.

I was actually surprised when I opened the box of the combo and found that the trash can had a removable plastic liner bucket inside.

Furthermore, the bucket has a nice little handle. This makes it easy to empty, and also easy to clean when needed.

Another great feature is the base is heavy enough to be steady. It doesn’t wobble when you use it.

What you will notice as well is that there is the tissue dispenser on the back close to the bottom. It can also be used to store your reusable shopping bags without taking up a lot of space, but I haven’t used it that way yet. I just use it as a handle.

As always, I finished off my my bathroom cleaning by cleaning the floors. So first, I was going to sweep the floor. You can vacuum if you want, but I like using a broom rather than a vacuum. I think it’s easier. You can gather some small debris. You might even pick up a few dead bugs along the way. Therefore, I just always use my broom on my hard floors and tile and everything. And I also like to wash my bath mats along the way.

Lastly, I was emptying our trash cans and lighting a candle. So that was pretty much it for my bathroom cleaning. There’s nothing better than a super clean bathroom! I absolutely love it!

Firstly, I have found Baffect Double Side Magnetic Window Cleaner to be such an invaluable tool. This thing has super strong magnets and is extremely heavy-duty! It’s great to have the option for double-glazed windows, but I also like to use it on my single pane windows as well. I love the shape as it gets corners and curves great! It’s definitely worth having for easy cleaning! It was totally worth the money.
